Install Guide
1. Start the LinkYourFileSetup
Double-click the downloaded LinkYourFileSetup. The LinkYourFile application should start after
installation. If the application does not start automatically start it from the windows start menu.

2. Start Trial / Activate
You can now start your free trial via the "Start trial"
button or input your purchased license key and press "Activate".

3. Open your first link
Click here to open your desktop in the windows explorer.
Accept the popup in your browser and always allow LinkYourFile
to be started automatically.

4. Create your first link
Right click on a file in the windows explorer.
In the context menu press on “Create Link”.
(Note - on Windows 11 you have to click “Show more options” first)
Your link is now copied to the clipboard. Paste it into e.g. Notion.
Click the link in Notion and the linked file will be opened automatically.
